The power of social media in campaigns.
The content is share-able.

The power of social media campaigns is powerful, massive, fast and easy to reach, social media shares an open and honest experiences of every cause that takes place around the world.it increases response and exposure for any campaign .people are attracted to it more and use it more they are able to support any cause and shows their concerns to the raised awareness by the campaign.

People are able to respond to any cause they get to express how they feel when the matter is still relevant the media attracts attention to any cause of any sort. the content is share-able to anyone who wants to share, they are able to yield results worldwide for instance the Boko Haram campaign this was one of the most important and successful campaign the aim to reach millions and millions of people worldwide was a success many people had a say on social media about the campaign countries like the US, Britain, France and China responded to this by sending their experts to help the search.

This event helps to mobilize the entire international community to finally do something against any perpetrators who commits any crime as such, the #BRING BACK OUR GIRLS activism campaign was fully supported and received so many prayers and concerns worldwide. this campaign was active because this issue was not only made the Nigerian issue it affected everyone and it was important that all the countries support and have a say based on this matter, we were all bind to fight against such cruel act the importance of the cause was critical we all felt bad for the girls who were taken against their will many people were tired of being silent about issues of such importance, those girls need education.

This may have happened to anyone, anywhere their families were torn apart by this doing the most hurtful part was that they were taken videos naked and published on media, many people use the # to show power of the words they said on their social networks # is a powerful tool and makes news to spread faster. the bring back our girls campaign was trying to motivate the Boko Haram people to bring back the girls to their families who were left broken after this mean cause.

Michelle Obama is shown with the #sign .
high profile support.
international leaders and celebrities have taken this campaign to twitter, Facebook and Instagram to pledge their support it reached everyone using the accounts the aim was to reach as many people as they possibly can the power of internet reveals that nothing can be done and having people not saying anything about it this campaign trended for months .the U.S first lady Michelle Obama tweeted about this and said " our prayers are with the Nigerian missing girls and their families". I for one hoped and prayed that they find them and bring back the girls home to their families who were left broken after this cruel attack.

    1. that's a good question ennie i think it is enough to be heard but the lacking comes from is it enough for action to be taken i think that's the question we need to ask ourselves because with this situation #bring back our girls the girls we not returned to their loved ones.
